ASR1 and a global ASR2
ScopeASR1 per voice · ASR2 globalASR1 belongs to each voice: every note runs its own. With the program's Globals On, ASR2 is one ASR for the whole program: triggered by ON it starts once, when the program is chosen; triggered by a controller, it moves every note at once.

WHAT TO KNOW
THE FIELDS
Globals, on the program's COMMON page, makes ASR2, LFO2, FUN2 and FUN4 the program's own. ASR1 always stays per voice.
ON, GLOBAL
A global ASR2 triggered by ON starts when the program is chosen and never lets go: a Hold one rises once and stays, a Rept one cycles for the whole program.
USE IT FOR
Global: a slow motion every note shares, or pressure bending a whole chord at once. Local: anything that starts with each note.
WATCH OUT
A global ASR2 can only be triggered by sources the whole program shares: the wheels, pressure, MIDI controllers, ON; never one note's key or velocity.
IN THE FACTORY PROGRAMS
ASR1 runs per voice in 1293 layers, ASR2 per voice in 205; 68 programs use one global ASR2, 57 of them triggered by ON.
