WHAT TO KNOW
THE FIELD
Mode, on the ASR page: Norm, Hold or Rept.
HOW EACH RUNS
Norm: delay, attack, release, once. Hold: delay, attack, then 1 for as long as the trigger is on, then the release. Rept: delay, then attack and release in turn while the trigger is on; the delay comes only once.
USE IT FOR
Norm for a swell or a dip that comes and goes; Hold for a delayed vibrato or a fade that stays; Rept for a slow, rising and falling motion that starts with each note, a triangle LFO of its own.
WATCH OUT
A Norm ASR with a long release works as a Hold for any note shorter than its release. A Rept ASR's cycle is its attack plus its release.
IN THE FACTORY PROGRAMS
Norm in 842 of the factory's ASRs, Hold in 574, Rept in 150. A Rept ASR's cycle, its attack plus its release, has a median of 4 s.

HOW TO ON YOUR K2700 · 676 Brass Fanfare
Brass Fanfare's ASR1 holds its vibrato for as long as the key is down. Try the other two modes.
In Program mode choose 676 Brass Fanfare (KEYPAD, 676, ENTER).

Press EDIT, then MORE and LFO+. ASR1's Mode is Hold: up after its delay and attack, and held.

Turn the Mode to Norm: the vibrato comes and goes once, even with the key held.

Turn it to Rept: the vibrato swells and fades again and again while you hold the note.
