SEE IT MOVE
Computed in your browser with KINSPIRATION's FUN engine. Drag on the map to try any a and b.
WHAT TO KNOW
INPUTS
Any two sources, equal weight; b OFF halves a.
OUTPUT RANGE
-1..+1 (never needs the clamp)
USE IT FOR
Blending two controllers; halving a source; lifting a pedal into the upper half (ON and Foot: 0.5..1, 11 factory slots).
WATCH OUT
Each input counts half: one controller alone reaches 0.5 at most. That is the price of never needing the clamp.
IN THE FACTORY PROGRAMS
In 84 FUN slots of the factory programs: FUN1 58, FUN3 26. GFUN2 and GFUN4 are the program's global FUNs. 23 of these slots have both inputs OFF, unused slots that keep this equation: its real uses are 61.
