WHAT TO KNOW

INPUTS

Symmetric, as a*b: usually a modulation and the amount that scales it.

OUTPUT RANGE

-1..+1

USE IT FOR

An inverted, scaled modulation; a negative constant switched on by a state: the factory's Atk State × 0.99 gives -0.99 while the AMPENV attacks and 0 afterwards (45 slots).

WATCH OUT

The sign is turned: two negative inputs give a negative output here, the opposite of a*b.

IN THE FACTORY PROGRAMS

In 46 FUN slots of the factory programs: FUN1 45, GFUN4 1. GFUN2 and GFUN4 are the program's global FUNs.
