The signal path
ALGKEY · PITCH · F1..F4 · AMPA VAST layer's sound runs along a path: the keymap's sample (KEY), played at the note's pitch (PITCH), through up to four blocks of DSP functions (F1 to F4) and the AMP to the output. The algorithm, one of 106, fixes that path: how many places there are, how many blocks each one takes, and the wires that join them.
SEE IT MOVE
Computed in your browser with KINSPIRATION's DSP functions, sample by sample; the KEY is the Sawtooth Wave keymap.
WHAT TO KNOW
THE PATH
KEY > PITCH > F1 > F2 > F3 > F4 > AMP > OUT, drawn left to right on the ALG page. A place takes one function; NONE passes its input on untouched.
THE PLACES
ALG 1, the workhorse, has three: F1-F2 (two blocks, for a 2-pole filter), then F3 and F4 (one block each, for a 1-pole filter, a shaper, a gain).
USE IT FOR
Reading any layer: which functions it uses, in which order, and where each one gets its signal.
WATCH OUT
Order matters: a shaper before a filter adds partials the filter can then take away; after it, the shaper adds them to the filtered sound.

HOW TO ON YOUR K2700 · 673 1-Note PowerRiff
1-Note PowerRiff's second layer plays ALG 1: see its path on the ALG page, then the values in each place.
In Program mode choose 673 1-Note PowerRiff (KEYPAD, 673, ENTER).

Press EDIT, go to layer 2 with CHANNEL/LAYER ▲, then MORE and ALG: Algorithm 1. The boxes are its path: Pitch, the 2POLE LOWPASS in F1-F2, the HIPASS in F3, None in F4, then Amp.

MORE, then DSP CTL: each place's values, a row each. The LP Frq row is F#4 370 Hz, the 2POLE LOWPASS's cutoff.
