sin(a+b)
shapes and warps= sin(180 degrees × (a + b))Maps a + b onto a sine: meant for a sawtooth input, which it turns into a sine wave. Other inputs give more complex shapes.

WHAT TO KNOW
INPUTS
a: a ramp (a Rise Saw LFO, a ramp FUN, GPhas1); b: a phase offset (0 for none, 0.5 for a quarter cycle).
OUTPUT RANGE
-1..+1
USE IT FOR
A sine locked to the beat from GPhas1; a sine whose rate any source sweeps, from a ramp FUN; a smooth S-curve: a unipolar controller with b = -0.5 goes from -1 to +1 along a sine.
WATCH OUT
A full cycle needs a + b to sweep −1..+1, a bipolar ramp; a 0..1 phase ramp gives half a cycle, a hump from 0 up to 1 and back.

HOW TO ON YOUR K2700 · 2046 Editor Template
The factory does not route sin(a+b) to a sound on its own: set one up on 2046 Editor Template and hear it on the pitch.
In Program mode choose 2046 Editor Template, a plain one-layer program to build on (KEYPAD, 2046, ENTER).

Press EDIT, then MORE and DSP MOD. On the Pitch row set Source 1 to FUN2 and its Depth to 1200 ct: FUN2's result, −1 to +1, now bends the pitch up to an octave either way.

MORE, then LFO+. On the FUN2 row set Input a to MWheel and Input b to -0.50.

Move to Function and turn the Alpha Wheel to sin(a+b).

Move the mod wheel from the bottom to the top: the pitch goes from an octave down to an octave up along a sine, slowly at both ends and fast in the middle.
Press EXIT and answer NO to leave the factory program as it was, or SAVE to keep your version on a USER ID.
