Tremolo and auto-pan
Level · PanLFO Rate · Depth · Shape · L/R Phase · PanWidthA tremolo moves the level up and down with an LFO; an auto-panner moves the sound between the speakers. Tremolo BPM counts its rate in beats of the tempo, Tremolo and AutoPanner in Hz. With L/R Phase In the two sides of a tremolo move against each other, and it pans.

Computed in your browser with KINSPIRATION's effects, sample by sample, with the values the program's own controllers give its chains. The phrase going in is a simple stand-in for the program's layers.
WHAT TO KNOW
THE RATE
Tremolo BPM: LFO Rate times the tempo (1 x at 120 BPM, two cycles a second). Tremolo and AutoPanner: in Hz.
DEPTH AND SHAPE
Depth is how far the level falls (100 %: to silence). Sine and Triangle swell, Pulse chops; its jumps are smoothed so they do not click.
USE IT FOR
An electric piano's stereo vibrato, organ and guitar tremolo, rhythmic gates locked to the tempo.
WATCH OUT
A pan of 100 % leaves each side silent in turn; the factory's electric pianos pan 50 to 60 % wide and keep the sound in the room.
IN THE FACTORY PROGRAMS
70 tremolos and panners play in the factory programs: AutoPanner in 43, Tremolo BPM in 20, Tremolo in 6; Triangle is their commonest shape.
